CarpetWorks LLC was founded by Gary Silverman in 1991 and has been a family business from the start. Serving all of Connecticut from a small office in West Hartford, with an off-site warehouse, Gary was dedicated to providing excellent service to his clients.
As the business grew, Gary remained committed to keeping it in the family, hiring his longtime friend Mike along with his sons, Adam and Todd. With fresh faces came fresh ideas, and the company continued to expand.
As CarpetWorks took on larger commercial projects and collaborated with general contractors, the need for a bigger space became clear. The company relocated from its longtime home to a larger facility in East Hartford, featuring multiple offices and an attached warehouse.
In 2024, Gary retired, passing down the business and its name to his two sons, who remain dedicated to growing CarpetWorks to new heights. With the same core motto—"We Care."—they continue to provide exceptional service to their clients and customers.
